Who Are We
At High Praise Assemblies International, our story is simple: “We are a people helped by God.” We are a Christ-centred, Spirit-filled commission committed to building a people of power, purity, purpose, and praise – across nations and generations. Every gathering, every teaching, and every encounter is anchored in our passion for the presence of the Lord and our obedience to His call.
We are a member of the Grace Family of Churches, submitted under God’s servant, Bishop Mosa Sono.

Church History
The Divine Instruction
After much prayer and divine prompting, the Lord instructed His servant, Apostle Jethro Malindzisa, together with Lady Reverend Sindi Malindzisa, to birth what we now know as High Praise Assemblies International (HPAI). The very first service was held on 1 September 2004 in the Malindzisa sitting room, with 13 believers plus the visionaries - a total of 15. This was the beginning of a spiritual movement marked by obedience, worship, and relentless faith.
The First Sunday Gathering
Our first official Sunday service, also the public announcement of HPAI’s establishment, took place on 5 September 2004 at a rented apartment in town. Musical Instruments were donated by Tom Lin of Destiny Music, a dear friend of Apostle’s, and chairs were gifted by Pastor Allan from Uganda. The very first rent was paid by Elder Irene Mtsetfwa. These were a powerful reminder that God always sends help when He gives an instruction.

A People Who Carried the Vision
The first 15 believers, later known as the “Succourers”, were not just attendees, they were pillars. Most are still faithfully part of HPAI today, and others have gone on to glory. These were ordinary people touched by God to build His extraordinary work. Their commitment laid the foundation for what HPAI would become.
A Place of Our Own
On 8 June 2006, we purchased our first plot, the land where the church now stands. This decision came after the Lord made it clear that His house must not remain in a rented space. A permanent sanctuary was required for the permanent work He had begun. The land was secured by faith and prophetic obedience, with no external donors, only believers moved by God within Eswatini.

Following the Cloud
Though the structure had not yet been built, the Apostle discerned that the cloud had moved. The church could no longer remain in the rented space when God had given land. Services began on the open plot in 2008, with a heap of soil as a pulpit. Soon, a tent was erected where we worshipped for years.

The Building Project Begins
Construction of the main auditorium began in 2008 with less than E500 in savings. Apostle often said, “This is God’s house, not mine. If anyone must lose sleep, let it be the Owner.” The construction company agreed to let us pay in instalments. By 2009, though not fully completed, we moved into the building. It was built with speed, sacrifice, and the help of many whose hearts God had stirred.

A Sound from HPAI: Songs of Glory
In 2016, HPAI released its first worship album: Songs of Glory with Apostle Jethro Malindzisa. It wasn’t just a musical release, it was a prophetic sound birthed from our altar of worship. The album, led by Apostle Jethro Malindzisa, went on to win a Crown Gospel Award for Best of Africa Worship, amplifying our message beyond borders. From “Bayethe” to “There’s No Problem Too Big,” it echoed the heart of our journey; one of praise, depth, and divine faithfulness.

Expanding the Vision
That same year, on 27 January 2016, we purchased a 3-hectare farm, now marked for our international headquarters. This site will house Christ-centred schools, a prayer garden, and spaces for holistic community development. Alongside this, Phase 2 of our current facility, including the Children’s Church and Administration Block, is now nearing completion, built as a legacy of faith for future generations.

We Are a People Helped by God
From a sitting room to a sanctuary, from a rented apartment to acres of vision, from 15 believers to a thriving assembly… the story of HPAI resounds with one testimony:
We are a people helped by God
Building Dedication Declaration
At the dedication of our church house, High Praise Assemblies International formally set this house apart unto God. This declaration reflects the purpose, calling, and spiritual assignments entrusted to this house.
